@Databricks ‘State of Data’ 2023 report begun with a simple, yet unequivocal statement – “We’re in the golden age of Data & AI”.

In just the first few weeks of 2024, we’ve seen @Google announce it’s $1bn UK data centre plans and @AWS reveal its plans for $15.5bn investment into Japan’s data centre infrastructure.

With a growing demand on AI products and services, AI is expected to contribute $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030, and those at the top facilitating these services are in a race for global footprint.

The somewhat refreshing news is, as these new projects come to fruition, new jobs and opportunities emerge at a time when many people need them.
