Due to these growth plans, the business is now looking to appoint several individuals across their Mobile Applications Team, including a Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native/Nodejs). As a Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native/Nodejs), you will be leading the development of innovative mobile applications that enhance and revolutionise essential user experiences.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Mobile Engineer:
- Lead the development of an innovative mobile app for learning and teaching cutting-edge technologies.
- Shape the app’s technical direction, leveraging front-end and back-end technologies.
- Enhance existing features and design new ones from scratch.
- Take ownership of key microservices components, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to tackle complex challenges and build high-performing solutions.
- Mentor and support engineers, fostering growth through coaching and guidance.
Key Requirements for the Senior Mobile Engineer:
- 4+ years’ experience delivering high-performance mobile apps with React Native, GraphQL, and NodeJS.
- Strong understanding of optimising app performance.
- Expertise in seamless release management, rollouts, and monitoring.
- Ability to develop robust CI pipelines, testing and deployment automation.
- Strong background in languages like TypeScript.
- Team-oriented, results-driven, and passionate about data science and education.
